Career Change.
I recently found your podcast. Thank you, I enjoy it. I have been on boats(recreational) since before I could walk. You talk a bit about jobs in the maritime fields. What opportunities exist for someone like me? I am about to turn 40. I am a project Manager involved with building efficiency and renewable energy projects
What type of training would be involved.
Thanks,
Craig

I appreciate you mentioning the Whaling Museum. I am just finishing a book about the Confederate Navy’s actions against the whaling fleet around the world. If you enjoy obscure history and are interested in the subject I can recommend The lost fleet : a Yankee whaler’s struggle against the Confederate Navy and Arctic disaster.
FWIW the audio levels in this show are much better.
